Edgewater Teen Charged in Car, Credit Card Thefts
Police want Edgewater residents to check their vehicles to see if items have been taken after credit cards were found during an arrest.

Edgewater, MD — Authorities are asking Edgewater area residents to check their cars to see if items may have been stolen after a local teen was arrested for thefts from vehicles.
The case began Saturday morning when Anne Arundel County Police officers, along with staff from the county fire marshal’s office, responded to a car fire at Homeport Farm Park on Homeport Drive near Solomons Island Road in Edgewater.
Police say the burning car had been stolen recently from Stewart Drive in Edgewater.

Officers arrested Dylan Thomas Cash Ducket, 18, of Edgewater for the car theft. Investigators found stolen credit cards linked to another vehicle and resident on Stewart Drive.
Numerous other items were located in Ducket's possession, police say, and officers have yet to locate the owners.

The police department asks residents in the Edgewater area, specifically on Stewart Drive, to check their vehicles to determine if they are missing any items. If they believe they are a victim of these thefts, contact Officer Salenieks at 410-222-1960.
