Join Jing Ying Institute of Kung Fu & Tai Chi for our jam-packed, full-of-fun-for-everyone, FREE annual Halloween Party! There will be a Costume Parade/Contest at 3pm (please, no super-scary costumes), Games, Face Painting, Prizes, and Giveaways! Eco-Adventures will be at the party too with their crawly creatures! They will be set up on our second floor so you & your child can choose whether or not to interact with their animals (snake, tarantula, hissing cockroaches, etc.)

Each person who dresses up will get an entry into Jing Ying’s grand prize drawings (there are categories for children, teens and adults) and will receive tickets to play games and enter contests. Extra tickets can be bought, and the funds raised will go to the Anne Arundel County assistance network, SPAN.

The event is free, but we welcome donations of non-perishable food for SPAN’s food pantry.

The party also kicks of our annual silent auction to raise money for SPAN, a local charity that helps families in crisis. The silent auction runs from October 25 until December 20, and we welcome donations. Also stop by when the studio is open to bid on silent auction items. Over $40,000 has been raised for charity over the years thanks to the community.
