Local Tuskegee Airman Holding Book Signing at Christopher’s
Local man LeRoy A. Battle was one of the original Tuskegee Airmen during World War II, and he plans on sharing life stories Saturday in south county.
Original Tuskegee Airman, LeRoy A. “Boots” Battle, will be doing a book signing at Christopher’s Fine Foods on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The World War II hero is a local “living legend” and has made lifelong contributions to the south county community. His two autobiographies, Easier Said… and And The Beat Goes On… inspire his readers with the recollections of his extraordinary life.
