Public Invited to Take ‘Last Look’ at Lothian Elementary

Lothian Elementary School will be demolished over the summer and construction of a new school will begin.

The public will be given a chance to say goodbye to Lothian Elementary School before it is demolished this summer.

On June 17, students, administration, staff and families past and present of Lothian will gather to say goodbye to the 57-year-old school.

The original school will be demolished over the summer to make way for the construction of a brand new $32.7 million facility, according to a release. The new school will be nearly 16,000 square feet larger and will accommodate more than 550 students.
