The 17-year-old will be starting off her college career at Towson and hopes to transfer to Maryland.
“Towson is my stepping stone to Maryland and I think I can be happy there,” Luvendusky said. “But my entire family has gone [to Maryland] from my parents to my brother and sister. So it is kind of a family thing and I have always wanted to continue the legacy there.”

Luvendusky said she isn’t sure what she wants to major in, but is leaning towards a path in communications. She said she hopes to one-day work for the Redskins or a larger organization.
Beside the family allure of Maryland, Luvendusky said the campus life is also a big draw for the school. She said she looks forward to being able to be a part of that.
“I think the campus is so pretty,” she said. “Being on campus is a whole different world. I love the rivalry between Duke and Maryland and being a part of that.”
