Sweet Frog Hosts Spring Celebration Thursday
The Edgewater frozen yogurt shop will also donate part of its sales to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
A spring celebration will be in full-swing at Sweet Frog in Edgewater Thursday afternoon. The frozen yogurt shop will host "Bounce," an event that celebrates the start of spring.
On Thursday, Sweet Frog will have story time, face painting, visits from the store's mascots, giveaways and the debut of a new flavor.
"It's a welcoming in spring celebration, and we are also doing a fundraiser all day," said store manager Kaitlyn Lukehart. "On Thursday, 25 percent of sales will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation."

Sweet Frog is sponsoring the event with Jennifer's Journey—a local group that raises funds for Cystic Fibrosis.
The face painting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. and story time will begin at 3 p.m. with a second session at 3:30 p.m.

"Since we opened in September we wanted to do something to celebrate our first summer in Edgewater," Lukehart said. "It's a big event. We are excited to do it and be able to give back to the Jennifer's Journey Foundation."
The Sweet Frog in Edgewater is located at 3059 Solomons Island Road.
