Tell Us: How Was the Brazilian Grill Grand Opening?

Real Fire Brazilian Grill hosted its grand opening on Saturday and Sunday.

The highly anticipated Real Fire Brazilian Grill finally hosted its grand opening on Saturday and Sunday—and officially opened its doors to the public on Monday.

The grill, which opened in the old Bill Bateman’s location at 121 Mitchell's Chance Rd, offers Brazilian style meats and pizzas served Rodizio style. The unique atmosphere and food created quite a stir amongst Patch readers before it opened.

However, with its grand opening behind them, Real Fire Brazilian Grill seems to have made fans out of a few Edgewater-Davidsonville residents. Several diners weighed in after the opening on Patch’s Facebook Page.

“Went to the new Real Fire Brazilian Grill last night, what a great experience,” wrote Crystal Stewart. “The food is amazing. The owner was there, introduced himself and welcomed feedback both good and bad. It is so nice to see a different type of restaurant open in this area instead of the same humdrum type. I highly recommend this place for a unique dining experience.”

Before its opening, Real Fire Brazilian Grill owner Arlin Bleclic said he thought area residents were ready for a different and exciting dining option. Bleclic owned a Brazilian style restaurant in Baltimore several years ago and has also owned several restaurants in Brazil. Now he is testing his luck in Edgewater.

“The food was excellent, and the restaurant was packed,” wrote Anne Shaldone Brown. “Seemed like a great opening last night.”

Real Fire Brazilian Grill may have charmed those who attended the grand opening, but it is no secret that the location of the restaurant has had some troubles in the past. Within the last couple of years, two restaurants have closed.
