This Weekend: Muddy Creek Artist's Harvest of Artists Show
The show will take place Sept 16-18 at Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian.
The Muddy Creek Artists Guild will be presenting their fall show, "Harvest of Artists," at Greenstreet Gardens in Lothian. There is no cost to attend. Everything on display is available for display.
The guild is made up of over 100 artists who live south of the South River who create their own original art.
Bea Poulin, the guild's president, said that "this will be one of our best shows yet!”

The show will highlight the original works of over 60 local artists. The event will also feature live music, artist receptions, art demonstrations and refreshments.
Works of art include wood and metal sculpture, clay work, oil, watercolor and acrylic paintings, mixed media, pastels, traditional printmaking, batik, silkscreen, photography, textiles, glass work and jewelry.

The owners of Greenstreet Gardens, Ray and Stacy Greenstreet are opening up their greenhous showroom as a backdrop. Outside of the show, local artists will be using the southern Anne Arundel landscaping for en plein air painting sessions. Patrons are invited to watch the artists at work.
The Greenstreets are well known for supporting local non-profits and this year Ray Greenstreet was recognized by the Southern Anne Arundel Chamber for his community service.
The Muddy Creek Artists Guild holds three shows annually – creating its own gallery in a unique space. The guild is committed to promoting local artists, educating the public about art techniques, and to supporting young artists with yearly scholarships.
Friday, Sept 16:

Saturday, Sept 17:
- Gallery open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Music Reception from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Fiddler Miriam and her Mermelaides
Sunday, Sept 18:
- Gallery open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Closing Party from 2 p.m to 4 p.m.
- Viki Garte and Hugh Cassidy and friends
