Week Ahead: Fundraisers, 'Artists on the Half Shell'

This week South River High School and Hair Cuttery will host a cut-a-thon to raise funds for a student who has Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Woodland Beach Vol. Fire Dept. Fundraiser
When:
  11: a.m. Tuesday to 1 p.m. Wednesday
Where: The Greene Turtle
Details:
Ten percent of all proceeds with be donated to the WBVFD building fund. Just mention Woodland Beach when you dine in or carry out.

Teacher Tuesday
When:
Tuesday
Where: Kahve Café
Details:
The promotion offers 10 percent off to all school employees every Tuesday.

The Muddy Creek Artists Guild announces its Fifth Annual Spring Show—Artists on the Half Shell.

SRYA Fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese
When:
Wednesday, 3-9 p.m.
Where: Chuck E. Cheese, 2333 Forest Dr. in Annapolis
Details: Take your children to Chuck E. Cheese and 15 percent will be donated to SRYA on all sales, including food, games and prizes.

Cut-a-thon

Thursday, 5-8 p.m.
Where: South River High School
Details:
With help from Hair Cuttery, South River High School (SRHS) will host a cut-a-thon to raise funds for a student who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
