West River Man Charged With Possession Of Child Porn: Police

WEST RIVER, MD — A 68-year-old West River man has been arrested and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. The Anne Arundel County child abuse unit was tipped off in October 2019 by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Kenneth Austin Stewart had uploaded child pornographic images to an internet site. After issuing and executing court orders, detectives were able to identify an address associated with the uploads.

In January 2020, detectives arrived at Stewart's residence in the 1000 block of Biltmore Avenue and interviewed him. Stewart also gave permission to have his electric devices searched, which revealed child pornography. The device was secured as evidence and forensically analyzed. The Forensic extraction of the digital device confirmed evidence of child pornography. Stewart was arrested March 26 and charged with 10 counts of child pornography.
