3 Businesses In Ellicott City Burglarized On Route 40: Police
Police said in the three burglaries in Ellicott City, one business had a window smashed and two reported items missing.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Three businesses along US 40 in Ellicott City were burglarized over the weekend, according to the Howard County Police Department. The burglaries took place in two shopping center areas.
Authorities said the burglaries occurred at Shannon's Saloon, Nora's Kabob and Smashburger.
At Shannon's Saloon, cash was stolen and there were no signs of forced entry. It was not clear how the suspect(s) got inside. Police said the burglary took place at the eatery in the 9300 block of Baltimore National Pike overnight between Saturday, Oct. 20, and Sunday, Oct. 21.

At Smashburger, a window was broken. Police said it was unclear whether anything had been taken in the burglary in the 9500 block of Baltimore National Pike, which occurred around 2:32 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21.
Five minutes later, police said Nora's Kabob in the 9300 block of Baltimore National Pike was the site of a burglary. At 2:37 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, police said cash was stolen from the business after someone got in through an unlocked back door.
