Interstate 70 Noise still bothering residents in Ellicott City

Traffic noise from Interstate 70 in Ellicott City has not gone down.

It is getting louder.  The loudest periods coincide with rush hours in the morning and evening. 

Sitting out back in the yard and enjoying peace and quiet is a challenge with the constant din of highway noise in the background.

Howard County planning and zoning and the Maryland State Highway Administration are viable options for voicing your concern about bothersome highway noise.

The last time a sound barrier was proposed was in the 1990's, but the noise has only increased since then.

Residents of Ellicott City near Bethany Lane deserve some peace and quiet for once.
