Ellicott City Moves Main Street Music Fest to Columbia for 2016

A 60-band concert this weekend will raise funds for Ellicott City relief efforts.

The fifth annual Main Street Music Fest has switched venues this year as downtown Ellicott City recovers from this summer's devastating flood. In neighborly fashion, the folks at Merriweather Post Pavilion offered to host the daylong event and will donate all proceeds to the Ellicott City flood relief efforts.

Slated for this Saturday, the 2016 Main Street Music Fest will be headlined by Toad The Wet Sprocket.
Festival-goers will be treated to more than 60 bands on six stages: Kelly Bell Band, CJ Ramone, Nighthawks, All Mighty Senators and Jah Works are among the other performers on the lineup.

Accompanying the music at the fifth annual Main Street Music Fest will be food provided by Ellicott City restaurants, a beer garden, Star Wars Village and the Main Street Market Place.
