Howard High Concession Stand Hit Again: Police
The Howard County Police Department provided the following information.
Burglars can't stay away from the candy at Howard High School.
Plastic bins containing candy were stolen from the school's concession stand over the weekend after someone cut a hole around the locks by the service window to get inside.
The burglary occurred between 8 a.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday at the school in the 8700 block of Old Annapolis Road.
This is the second time the concession stand was burglarized in the past three months. During a weekend in mid-March, there was also a break-in at the stand. Candy and soda were reported stolen in that incident, in which the suspect(s) pried a window open to get into the stand, police said.
Residential Burglaries
Jewelry, cash, a safe and personal documents were taken from a residence where someone broke a window lock to get inside. The burglary in the 5100 block of Crestwood Lane was reported at 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
A tablet and iPod were reported missing from the 8900 block of Town and Country Boulevard on June 18. There were no signs of forced entry.
