Fire Damages Ellicott City Home: Officials

Several units responded to help extinguish the fire, which took 30 minutes to battle.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — It took firefighters 30 minutes to extinguish a house fire in the 10100 block of Glasshouse Court shortly after 7 p.m. Monday. Several units were dispatched to the fire. The first firefighters to arrive discovered the fire on the second floor.

According to the Howard County Fire Department, the homeowner safely evacuated before the firefighters arrived and no injuries were reported.
