Hate Fliers In Ellicott City Under Investigation
The Howard County Police Department is investigating a case of hate-filled fliers found along the Main Street area.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Fliers containing hate speech were scattered along the side of Main Street in Ellicott City on Saturday, Nov. 17, according to the Howard County Police Department. About 40 fliers were collected, authorities said.
According to police, the fliers did not seem specific to any person, vehicle, business or residence.
Now, officials say they are interested in figuring out who was distributing the fliers and the vehicle of the person/people involved.

Anyone who may have a doorbell camera that caught the responsible person(s) is asked to contact the Howard County Police Department.
"The fliers do not appear to be specific to Howard County and have reportedly been discovered in other areas outside of the county," police reported on Sunday, Nov. 18. "So far, approximately 40 fliers have been collected from the Ellicott City area."

Those who see fliers are asked to call police at 410-313-2200 before disposing of the material. People are asked to provide a location for police regarding where the fliers were found.
