HCPSS Seeks Volunteers For World Language Advisory Committee
Volunteers are needed to serve on the HCPSS world language advisory committee. The deadline to apply is Aug. 16.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Volunteers are needed to serve on the Howard County Public School System's world language advisory committee.
According to the school district, "the mission of the committee is to champion the advancement of world language education by bridging community insights with educational policy and advocating for the program’s broad-based recognition and support. The world language advisory committee serves as a community sounding board for topics related to world language education in Howard County and advocates for the world language program in various public and private arenas."
Members serve a one-year term, can serve a second term if interested and should be residents of Howard County. Virtual meetings will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on the following dates:
