• Metro's Red Line returns to normal as 3 stations reopen Monday (fox5dc.com) — Metro’s Red Line is back to normal for Friendship Heights riders as the summer shutdown between Bethesda and North Bethesda ends and shuttle buses along Wisconsin Avenue stop running. Bethesda, Medical Center, and Grosvenor-Strathmore stations have reopened, though long-term construction at Bethesda will continue for about 18 more months while crews work toward a future Purple Line connection.
