1 Woman Dead In Olney Crash: Police

Wenshuo Zhu, 45, of Germantown died in a collision in Olney Sunday.

OLNEY, MD — Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that left one woman dead in Olney Sunday morning.

Authorities said one woman died and three others were injured at around 10:30 a.m. on Bowie Mill Road at Fraley Fard Road.

Investigation revealed that a 2012 Honda Accord headed westbound collided with a 2015 Ford Mustang headed eastbound on Bowie Mill Road, police said.

The driver of the Accord, Xiaolin Fu, 51, from Germantown, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The Accord’s two female passengers, Wenshuo Zhu, 45, of Germantown, and a 13-year-old girl were also taken to area hospitals.

Zhu later succumbed to her injuries, according to police.

The driver of the Mustang, Olney man William Eduardo Gonzalez, 21, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are still under investigation, police said.
