UPDATE: 15-Year-Old Girl Missing From Damascus Found Safe

Maile Octavia Zebart was found safe and unharmed, police said.

(Updated 10:38 a.m. Friday) DAMASCUS, MD — Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department announced Friday morning that Maile Octavia Zebart has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing female teenager from the Damascus area.

Maile Octavia Zebart, 15, of Hilton Place in Damascus was last seen at home by family members at approximately 1 a.m. Thursday, police said.

Zebart is described as a white female, 5’4” tall and weighing 95 pounds. She has short black hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a dark gray long-sleeved shirt, and cut-off jean shorts over patterned black leggings.

Police and family are concerned for Maile’s emotional and physical welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Maile Octavia Zebart is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
