2019 Tax Day: Which Post Offices Are Open Late In Montgomery Co?

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Today is April 15, and you know what that means: Tax Day. It's the deadline to file your 2018 federal tax returns without incurring a penalty from the Internal Revenue Service.

If you haven't filed your taxes returns yet, time is of the essence. The IRS is encouraging taxpayers to electronically file their returns. E-filing tax returns, according to the agency, is secure and convenient. It also means refunds — for those lucky enough — will be delivered faster.
