UPDATE: 22-Year-Old Autistic Woman Missing From Gaithersburg Found

Soraya Pharah Mascall was missing from Friday afternoon to Wednesday morning.

(Updated 10:32 a.m. Wednesday) GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County Police announced the missing autistic woman was found safe and unharmed as of Wednesday morning.

Soraya Pharah Mascall, 22, of Rideout Court, went missing from Rockville on Friday. She was last seen by her friends when she left a Courthouse Square address in Rockville on foot at about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17, police told Patch.

Mascall spoke with her mother on the phone at about 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon but didn't provide her location.

Mascall has high-functioning autism and is familiar with public transportation, police said.

Police describe Mascall as a black female, standing approximately 5-foot-5 and weighing about 190 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a red jacket over a blue polo shirt with the Montgomery County Maryland logo on it and khaki pants.
