5th Annual “Restore the Joy” Domestic Violence Empowerment Luncheon, hosted by Women Who Care Ministries and the Victims’ Rights Foundation, in partnership with the City of Gaithersburg.
The 2011 event, which offers messages of inspiration and hope along with vital resource information, will feature a keynote address by Barbara Talley. Talley is a speaker, poet, author and publisher of many valued-based living products. She is high-energy, with a special talent for inspiring her listeners as she addresses such topics as goal setting, balancing work and family, empowerment, values, personal leadership, and effective communication. Talley will be joined by special guest Maryland Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown.
“Restore the Joy” features a resource fair, a discussion on various issues related to domestic violence by a panel of experts, inspirational performances, and vendor information. Early registration is recommended as seating is limited and the event is expected to sell out.
