The Gaithersburg varsity football team captured its second win this season after a 9-0 victory over Springbrook before a small crowd at Richard Montgomery’s Roy Lester Stadium.

The Trojans are playing their home games this season at Richard Montgomery while their home field, John H. Harvill Stadium, undergoes renovation.

Gaithersburg sophomore Solomon Vault rushed for 91 yards on 19 carries and the Gaithersburg defense pitched a shutout en route to the Trojans’ victory over the Blue Devils.
