Gaithersburg Holiday Closures

Some city buildings will be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday. Here's what they've posted on their website:

The following facilities will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2012 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday:

• City Hall
• Activity Center
• Arts Barn
• Casey Community Center
• Kentlands Mansion
• Olde Towne Youth Center
• Robertson Park Youth Center
• Senior Center

Other notes:

• The Gaithersburg Police Station will be open normal hours (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
• Recycling will take place as regularly scheduled. 
• There will be no recreation classes or youth/teen sports practices
• The Aquatic Center will follow regular schedule (open at 5:15 p.m.)
