Lady Trojans Improve to 3-0

Last night at Churchill High School, the Lady Bulldogs put the defending Maryland 4A State Champion Gaithersburg Lady Trojans to the test, before falling 44-36 in a very competitive game. 

The Lady Bulldogs led 21-20 at the half and 29-28 after three quarters, holding the high scoring Lady Trojans in check.  But, the Lady Trojans used a swarming defense and the sharp shooting of Senior point guard Colleen Marshall to come from behind and then pull away late. 

Senior center Jackie Jackson sealed the game with a late lay up. 

The Lady Trojans have won 28 consecutive games and stand at 3-0 this season.
