Lady Trojans Net 40 Consecutive Wins
The Gaithersburg girls beat the Clarksburg Lady Coyotes 59-30.
On Monday, January 30, the Gaithersburg High School Lady Trojans used their trademark swarming defense and up-tempo offense to run past the Clarksburg Lady Coyotes 59-30 at Clarksburg High School.
Seniors Colleen Marshall and Jackie Jackson led the Lady Trojans with 23 and 15 points, respectively.
The Lady Trojans led the game against the over-matched Lady Coyotes 17-8 after the first quarter, 28-16 at the half, and 41-24 after the third quarter.
The third-ranked Lady Trojans improved to 15-0 this season and extended their winning streak to 40 games.
