• Police Find Short-Barreled Rifle, Drugs After Finding Two People Asleep in Vehicle (mocoshow.com) — Gaithersburg Police recently arrested a 22-year-old man after finding controlled substances and a short‑barreled rifle during a traffic stop where two people were discovered asleep in a vehicle blocking a traffic lane. Officers cited the driver, seized the drugs and weapon, and say the passenger was taken to the Central Processing Unit and held without bond.
