POLL: Who's To Blame for Downgraded US Credit Rating?

On Friday, the S&P decided that the US was slightly riskier than not risky when it comes to borrowing—and more importantly, paying back—money.

The Washington Post reported that the fallout from a downgraded credit rating could be felt in municipalities in our area.

Luckily for Gaithersburg, the city has no debt, and has never even applied for a rating from any of the three credit rating agencies.

Still, the downgrade is causing a mess on Wall Street and in European markets.
