This past summer may have been cooler than average, but the housing market certainly wasn’t! The Frederick News Post recently published the latest housing market statistics for Frederick County and the results are certainly impressive. In August, there were 36 more home sales in Frederick County when compared to the same month a year ago. Additionally, steady month-to-month increases have been routine each month so far in 2014. Patrick McLister, a professional in the real estate industry, accredited low interest rates and a diverse inventory to the positive summer sales numbers.
