Sorority Sisters Surprise City Manager

City Manager Angel Jones doesn't usually like surprises.

But she got one she did like Monday night during the City Council meeting.

During the public appearances portion of the agenda, several of her sorority sisters entered the chamber and announced that they were honoring her with the Power of Example Leadership Award.

"It was very touching to hear that," Jones said.

The award was presented by women from the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and the Women Who Care Ministry.
