Got what it takes to grace the pages of Italian Vogue while making must-see reality TV?

America’s Next Top Model will hold auditions at Gaithersburg’s Lakeforest Mall from 5-8 p.m. Feb. 18. The fierce modeling contest, which has spawned spin-offs in more than 40 countries, is casting for its 17th cycle.

Prospective models must bring in a completed application, available online. The 11-page document includes a wide-ranging list of questions on topics like religion and politics, pets, favorite foods, most shameful moments, personal heroes, life motto, strategies for dealing with intimidation, whether or not the applicant has a temper and what provokes them.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 27 and at least 5-feet-7-inches tall. Any material submitted with an application, like videos or photos, as well as any original literary or musical compositions included in the materials will become property of the show. Models currently represented by managers or agents must terminate the relationships if selected for the show.

Auditions will also be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 19 at The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City in Arlington, Va.

A handful of Top Model contestants have hailed from the Old Line State over the years, including Sandra Nyanchoka of Rockville, Sarah Dankleman and Jane Randall, both of Baltimore, and Isis King of Prince George’s County, the show’s first transgender contestant.

Cycle 16 of America’s Next Top Model premieres 8 p.m. Feb. 23 on The CW. The grand prize includes a contract with IMG Models, a fashion spread in Vogue Italia, a Beauty in Vogue cover and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics.
