On Monday, the Rockville Rams hosted the Gaithersburg Trojans for a doubleheader at Manuel Field in Rockville.
In the first game, the Rams held a commanding 5-0 lead heading to the 7th inning and had no-hit Trojans through 6 innings. However, Senior Zack Fetters (#15) broke up the Rams' no hitter and started the Trojans' rally with a single.
Seniors Max Heldman (#2) and John Hallock (#10) kept the rally going, and when Senior Billy Cullen (#17) blasted a ground rule double to left centerfield, it looked like the Trojans may come all the way back. However, after Fetters, Heldman, and Hallock scored, the Rams defense tightened to close out the game.
