Trojans Split Spring Break Doubleheader

On April 20, the Gaithersburg Trojans defeated the Churchill Bulldogs 8-2 in the early game of a doubleheader.  The highlight of the game was delivered by Junior pitcher/outfielder/first baseman Stephen Lee (#21), who hit a grand slam home run over the right field fence in the first inning.   

In the afternoon game, the Trojans fought hard but fell to the Quince Orchard Cougars 13-7. 

The Trojans saw excellent performances from several players, including Senior pitcher/shortstop Max Heldman (#2), Junior second baseman Dominic Jefferson (#5), and Senior outfielder Gunner Dillon (#13).  

The Trojans are an impressive 9-5 on the season, and their next game is April 27, when Montgomery Blair will make a visit to GHS.
