Man Escapes Germantown Shooting Unharmed: MCPD

Police are investigating after an armed suspect fired multiple shots at a man in Germantown early Friday morning.

GERMANTOWN, MD — A man escaped unharmed after multiple shots were fired in Germantown early Friday morning, according to authorities.

Around 1:15 a.m., dispatchers received a call from a male victim stating he was confronted by an unknown individual who started shooting at him. Montgomery County Police said they responded to the 12600 block of Wisteria Drive and Laurel Grove Terrace, where they found the victim.

The man, who escaped the incident uninjured, could not provide a description of the suspect, officials said. Evidence was collected at the scene.

Detectives do not believe the shooting was random.
