In SpeechLESS, choreographer Veronika Farkas brings together Gallaudet University dancers with her professional and teen VF Dance companies in an exciting collaboration that results in a feast for the eyes. A master storyteller who requires no spoken words, Farkas tells interconnected but distinct tales using an array of dance styles and visual techniques, including American Sign Language (ASL). The themes of the stories are universal, but the ways the stories unfold are unique. Lights visual art, and yoga, are a few elements that bring lyricism and beauty to modern dance pieces you will recognize as being funny, sad and real.
