2 Stabbed In Linthicum Fight; Laurel Man Arrested
A Laurel man faces charges after he allegedly stabbed a man in Linthicum; the victim is in critical condition.

LINTHICUM, MD — Two men are hospitalized at Maryland Shock Trauma Center with stab wounds, one in critically injured, and a Laurel man faces charges for allegedly starting the fight that injured both parties. Anne Arundel County Police say they were called to a fight about 11:50 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Camp Meade Road in Linthicum.
Officers found a man lying on the ground with a stab wound to his chest. A witness gave officers a description of the suspect — Brian Eugene James, 50, of the 500 block of Eighth Street in Laurel — and he was taken into custody nearby.
Investigators say James started a fight with the victim, then took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. It was only as officers spoke to James that they learned that he also had a stab wound to his upper body.
