Gunning's Seafood Too

This Baltimore traditional crab house is back in town.

Who doesn’t remember the old Gunning’s location in the Brooklyn neighborhood that was known as a hole in the wall that served locals the best beer and crabs in town?

Well they are back in the neighborhood just a few minutes away from their old location before they moved to Hanover in 1989.

If you like fried hard crab or soft crab sandwiches, Gunning’s is the place to get them. Their portions are large and the service is good.

A combo sampler consists of three large breaded shrimp, crab balls, mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings for $17.99 and their traditional creamy crab dip served with dipping bread is $15.99.

Crabs are available all year round for dine-in or carry-out. Sandwiches are served with french fries or chips and a pickle. The house dressing for a salad is a delicious pepper-Parmesan.

Established in 1969, this third-generation family-owned business has become a Baltimore tradition and has another location in Hanover.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has reported that the population of the . So, come on down to Gunning’s and eat some crabs with an ice cold beer.

Gunning’s Seafood Too Restaurant & Crab House is located in Burwood Shopping Plaza at 7089 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., 410-691-2722. Hours are: Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday noon to 11 p.m.; and Sunday noon to 9 p.m.
