Glen Burnie Girl Deemed Critically Missing: State Police

Maryland State Police are asking for the public's help in the search for a 13-year-old Glen Burnie girl.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Maryland State Police are asking for the public's help in the search for a 13-year-old Glen Burnie girl who has been deemed a critically missing juvenile. Shakirah Alliah Shurrah Gilliam-Shabazz, 13, was reported missing Tuesday from the Glen Burnie area.

According to state police, Gilliam-Shabazz was last seen on Monday in Glen Burnie. She is described as 5’03” tall, weighs 120 pounds, has brown eyes, with brown shoulder-length curly hair. Gilliam-Shabazz is reported to sometimes wear glasses and has her ears and nose pierced. She was last seen wearing black stretch pants, a white tee-shirt, green jacket, and metallic pink Nike sneakers.

Gilliam-Shabazz is a student at Corkran Middle School.
