Man Arrested For Robbing Shell Gas Station In Glen Burnie: Police

Police apprehended a Glen Burnie man suspected of robbing the Shell gas station in town Oct. 23.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Officers have arrested a man suspected of robbing the Shell gas station at 6616 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 5 a.m. Oct. 23. The store manager reported to police that the man walked into the store, indicated he had a weapon and tried to take items.

When the store manager attempted to stop him, the man took off. An officer found 31-year-old David Carroll Hall fleeing on Allen Road. When they tried to arrest him, Hall took off running but officers were able to capture him. Hall has been charged with robbery, armed robbery, assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree, reckless endangerment and theft: $100 to less than $1,500.
