Police Identify Body Found In Vehicle In Glen Burnie

A vehicle found in Glen Burnie containing a dead body is linked to a missing person case. Officials have since identified the body.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Officers discovered a deceased man in a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Aquahart Road in Glen Burnie July 27 and on July 30 revealed who it was. With the assistance of the latent fingerprint unit, police have identified the victim as 56-year-old Brian Gary Gifford.

Officials determined that Gifford's body had been in the vehicle for quite some time. The vehicle that Gifford's body was in was related to an active missing person investigation dating back to July 23. The Anne Arundel County Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in Gifford's murder.
