Molotov Cocktail Ignites Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall: Police
The Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Glen Burnie was the target of a Maryland woman who threw a Molotov cocktail inside it Feb. 13.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 43-year-old woman has been charged with first and second degree attempted murder, attempted arson, malicious burning, manufacturing/possessing a destructive device, defacing a religious property and destruction of property after police say she threw a Molotov cocktail into a Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall at 1301 William St., Glen Burnie.
Anne Arundel County officers were called to the building for a report of attempted arson at approximately 10 a.m. Feb. 13. Officers found a broken exterior door and inside were the remnants of the Molotov cocktail. During the course of the investigation, officers gained information that led to the arrest of Heather Alena Meisel of Halethorpe. Investigators believe she acted alone. People were inside the church at the time of the incident, officials said.
