Robbery, Stabbing Reported In Glen Burnie: Police Report

Anne Arundel County police officers recently responded to a stabbing at the Days Inn and a robbery at the Rite Aid.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Anne Arundel County police officers responded to a robbery and a stabbing in Glen Burnie recently. On June 24 at approximately 8:55 p.m., officers were alerted to a robbery unfolding at the Rite Aid at 7967 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. Three men wearing black clothing and facial coverings entered the business and discharged pepper spray in the faces of employees and customers. The suspects then went to the pharmacy and removed "multiple unknown pharmaceuticals" before fleeing, according to the police department. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. On June 26 at approximately 11:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center for a report of a stabbing that had occurred at approximately 10 a.m. at the Days Inn located at 6600 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. A man had arrived at the hotel and was assaulted by a stranger as he was getting out of a vehicle. During the assault, the victim was stabbed. According to a police report, the injuries were classified as not being "life threatening." Detectives believe there may be additional witnesses to this incident and ask anyone with information to call the TipLine at 410-222-4700.
