Woman Pouring Gasoline Outside Bait Shop Sought: Officials

A small fire at a Glen Burnie bait shop has prompted release of a video that seems to show a woman pouring gasoline outside the business.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A small fire at a Glen Burnie bait shop has prompted release of a video that seems to show a woman pouring gasoline outside the business. Anne Arundel County Fire officials have posted still images and security video in hopes that the public can help identify the woman.

The fire was reported about 8:19 p.m. April 7 at Warren's Bait Box, 7403 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, the department said. No damage was listed and no injuries were reported.

An Anne Arundel County Police officer on patrol spotted a small fire in the bait shop's parking lot, and put it out before firefighters and the owner arrived. The owner said he had video of a person spreading gasoline in an area that was not involved in the fire.

Members of the Anne Arundel County Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit obtained evidence and the video. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person in the video and still pictures below. Anyone with information may contact them anonymously at 410-222-TIPS.
