📰 News we're reading
• Supreme Court declines to hear Marilyn Mosby's appeal in perjury and fraud case (thebanner.com) — Greenbelt's federal courthouse figures prominently as the site where former Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby was convicted of perjury, a verdict the U.S. Supreme Court has now let stand by declining her appeal. One mortgage fraud count was previously overturned, but Mosby will still serve supervised release and community service tied to her pandemic-era retirement withdrawals.
