2 Arrested In HdG For Drugs After Traffic Stop: HdG Police
Police allege two people were hiding their drugs in a cigarette pack in their car on South Juniata Street.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Police said two people were charged in connection with possession of drugs this week in Havre de Grace after a traffic stop. The 60-year-old Perryville man and 54-year-old Havre de Grace woman were pulled over around 4:20 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department.
Officers were checking registrations and unattended vehicles in the 400 block of South Juniata Street when they discovered one car had its registration suspended for emissions testing.
After conducting a traffic stop on the red Ford Taurus, police allege the driver gave a fake name and date of birth. Through further investigation, police determined he was a 60-year-old Perryville man.

Police searched both the man and the woman who had been his passenger. Officers said they found what was suspected to be crack cocaine in a cigarette pack as well as a smoking device.
The Perryville man was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, making a false statement to officers and traffic offenses.

Police said the 54-year-old woman he was with from the 100 block of Havre de Grace was charged with possession of cocaine, opium and heroin and paraphernalia.
Both were taken to the Harford County Detention Center.
