2 Arrests, 2 Thefts: Havre de Grace Crime Blotter

Police said two men from out of town were arrested in Havre de Grace in the past four days.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department reports that it has made two arrests in the past four days. In addition, it has investigated two thefts.

A Delaware man was arrested after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28. Police said the 30-year-old man from New Castle was taken into custody in the 1100 block of Revolution Street after officers ran his registration. Officials said he was charged with assault on a police officer, resisting/hindering arrest and possession of drugs. He was taken to the Harford County Detention Center, police reported.

At 7:35 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, authorities said a 64-year-old Windsor Mill man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, failing to stay on the right side of the road, negligent driving and reckless driving. He was pulled over in the 100 block of Superior Street. Police said he was released after securing a cab ride.

Cigarettes were reported stolen from the 500 block of Green Street after 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28.

An air conditioner and other items were reported stolen from the 700 block of Revolution Street after 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26.
