2 Havre de Grace Teens Charged In Assault: Police
Police said the teens were responsible for an assault on July 6.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Two teens have been charged in connection with a July 6 assault in Havre de Grace that put two boys in the hospital, according to police. One of the victims had to be airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, officials said.
Havre de Grace authorities learned of the assault at 12:56 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, through a neighboring jurisdiction; the Aberdeen Police Department notified Havre de Grace police of the case.
One victim was taken to shock trauma by medevac, while another went to a local hospital, police said.

The two boys had been assaulted outside a home in the 100 block of Remington Circle in Havre de Grace, they told authorities, and were subsequently taken to an address in Aberdeen.
Upon learning of the assault, officers in Havre de Grace went to the residence on Remington Circle and secured the area.

Police said that arrest warrants were issued in the case Thursday, July 11.
Scott Brian Raymond Jr., 19, of the 100 block of Remington Circle, is charged with two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault. He was arrested without incident at his home on Thursday, July 11, according to police. A preliminary hearing in his case is slated for July 24.
Timothy Daniel Easton, 19, of the 700 block of Pulaski Highway Havre de Grace, was also charged with two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault. He turned himself in to police on July 11 after Raymond was arrested, according to police. Easton was booked and released on his own recognizance Friday, July 12, court records show.
Police said no further information would be released since the investigation was "open and active."
