Armed Robbery on Congress Avenue: Police
A Baltimore County man was charged, Havre de Grace Police Department reports.

An Essex teen was charged in connection with an armed robbery on Congress Avenue this week, according to the Havre de Grace Police Department.
The robbery occurred in the 700 block of Congress Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, police reported.
An 18-year-old man from the 800 block of Briar Hill Place in Essex was charged with robbery with a handgun, second-degree assault, assault and possession of a handgun on school property, according to police.

He was apprehended in the 400 block of Juniata Street at approximately 1:34 p.m., police said.
He was being held at the Harford County Detention Center, where he was charged Tuesday with possession of contraband in a place of confinement.
