Beer Bottle Used in Assault in Havre de Grace: Police

An attempted street robbery, Pepsi machine vandalism and other reports were received by Havre de Grace Police Department recently.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

Officials are investigating after someone was hit with a beer bottle. The assault was reported in the 700 block of Pennington Avenue around 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. The incident occurred in the 800 block of North Adams Street.

A bike was stolen from the 600 block of Congress Avenue. The theft report was filed at 3:05 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17.

A woman tried to rob a pedestrian of a purse on South Washington Street after 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. The victim fought off the suspect, and nothing was taken.

Someone received $33 in services and did not pay for them in the 600 block of Ohio Street at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14.

The lock on a Pepsi machine in the 100 block of Bourbon Street was drilled out, and $200 was taken in early October. The theft was reported on Friday, Oct. 14.
